It's time to celebrate the 2018 Harvest with LongSword's fourth annual Harvest Festival featuring a Pumpkin Chuckin' Fundraiser. In addition to our fantastic wines, we'll also have:
PUMPKIN PAINTING
and....
PUMPKIN CHUCKIN' with a TREBUCHET!!!
Wait, what's "Pumpkin Chuckin," you ask? It's where you launch pumpkins into our back field using a real trebuchet or a slingshot. Why? Because it's fun! And this year it's also for a good cause!! All proceeds from pumpkin purchases will go to the Siskiyou Upland Trails Association (SUTA) to support the work they do to maintain and create our local hiking trails!
This event is free and SUPERVISED-kid friendly ;)

October 6 & 7 Hanley Farm celebrates the 8th Annual Scarecrow Festival. In the centuries-old tradition farmers used to save their crops, you can make your own scarecrow. When you’ve completed your scarecrow you can enter it in the Scarecrow Contest and compete for a People’s Choice Award, OR take your scarecrow home with. Everything you need to make a scarecrow is available in a kit for just $15 ($10 for SOHS Members). While you’re at the farm plan to take a hay ride, paint a pumpkin or bob for an apple, browse the Hanley Mercantile, enjoy lunch prepared by the Jackson County Master Food Preservers, or tour the Hanley House ($5). Don’t miss your chance to be part of the Scarecrow Festival Weekend!

Join us for the Harvest Festival at the Wood House. Lots of food, shopping and music. Come tour the house and say hi!

Come join us for music, apple cider and other goodies to celebrate the arrival of local apples and fall weather! We will have a selection of fresh apple varieties from local farmers to taste and help you determine which varieties to buy & plant in your own yard.
