ISOLATION does not have to mean ALONE.

My best friend just uttered these wise words, and immediately, I thought of all of those who needed to hear them too.

What does it look like to connect with those around you while honoring the health of yourself and others?

It pretty much means to share life with another.

  • Text.

  • Call.

  • FaceTime.

  • Google Hang Out.

  • Deliver meals.

  • Start reading groups.

  • Use the current list of live/streaming events or venues and create a discussion board.

  • Start blogging again.

  • Invite connection with others about ideas, preferences, arts, sciences, education, world events.

  • Start conversations with "what do you think?" and "tell me about your day." and "what did you notice most today and what do you think about it?"

  • Find ease with someone - and for some, the ease is in the silence moments together, while with others, the ease is in the chatter. Find your ease.
